The Truth is Within

SPIRITUALITY OR RELIGION?

What does it mean to have a universal outlook and to consider yourself spiritual but not religious?

This is about experiencing the Divine in all of creation, in all colour and dimension, not limiting the Divine or our experience of the Divine in any way. Why do we put human limits on the Divine saying that God is 'jealous or angry', therefore making God in our own likeness? Instead the authors of Divinity.com believe God to be absolutely perfect, absolutely love, compassion and forgiveness. A God who embraces people of all beliefs.

When we look around us we see so many examples of that inherent perfection and beauty.

How can we limit the Divine in any way?
Divinity or God that is infinite and beyond normal human understanding, which does not mean unattainable. There is infinite variety in Nature, there are galaxies and galaxies. Why would we ever think that God would stop with us and that the dance of Creation might be expressed in any limited form?

God as Creativity, Illumination, Pure Love and Light would delight in our expressing gratitude in a million different ways. Why would Infinite Absolute Beautiful Divinity, be limited to Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Judaism or any one religion? The Divine expresses in myriad and infinite ways, in fullness and richness of colour, beyond all limits of Imagination. There are no limits of imagination.

The authors of Divinity.com believe that Divinity or God is to be found within all of the world's religions but not limited by anyone of them. For who can say that they have ownership of God?

Of course this Wondrous Perfection would choose to express Itself in infinite ways. In Christ, Allah, Yahweh, through many different prophets, saints and masters, in multicoloured and imaginative ways manifest in the many different Hindu deities (all extensions of the one God, Brahma).

Those who are universal in their beliefs, will take Truth wherever they find in, within all the world's religions and in fact beyond them. For we can find the Divine in the dance of creation and most of all within ourselves.

'Be still and know that I am God'. In stillness, in silence, in meditation, there is a meeting place where we experience ourselves truly and fully and can have the divine experiences that we all long for.
